Chiropractic care for adults

Symptoms are the body’s way of communicating with us that it is getting too much or not enough of some thing. When we cover up a symptom with medication, cut it out with surgery, or destroy it with radiation we are masking the symptoms but not getting to the root cause that cause the symptoms to show up in the first place.

The brain and spinal cord were the first things to form when you were created in utero, and your nervous system controls all functions of the body. When you cut yourself, you don’t have to tell your body how to heal, it just knows how to do it. When you eat breakfast you don’t have to tell your stomach how to digest your food, it also knows how to do it. Your heart beats on its own, and your lungs breathe all on their own, of these things happen without you even thinking. This is because your body is intelligent and knows how to adapt to the environment, heal and recover.

When we experience stress in our life it affects our nervous system‘s ability to adapt and integrate. This leads to disease, dysfunction and degeneration. When you come to our office we will perform a thorough exam and history to determine where your body is having areas of interference.

Using state of the art technology to assess your autonomic nervous system we can see exactly how your nervous system is functioning. If necessary, we will also perform x-rays so that we can see how the cumulative stressors in your life have caused postural or structural changes.

Dr. Sarah will then create a custom individualized care plan to get you out of pain and back to functioning the way that they were designed to. Most people enjoy feeling the way they do under Chiropractic care and decide to get adjusted routinely as a way to maintain their new state of health and continue to optimize their function
